This amazing clip from Chennai, India was made by photographer/videographer Mohan Das Vadakara last year, and offers a glimpse of a global LGBT activism than US based progressives rarely see. It is in English and Tamil but I find all parts understandable and inspiring. It was distributed by the Orinam.net group, which describs itself as follows “Initiated in October 2006, Orinam.net is a bilingual – Tamil and English – website with information on alternate sexualities and genders. We intend this space to speak to a wide range of people, including families and friends of those of us who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.”
